I bought a 1 Terabyte Sata Drive from Best Buy yesterday. It comes with software that allows you to reimage your current hard drive on to this one.

Could this mess up my programs if I reimage my old hard drive to this new one I bought? I have I-Tunes and also some DRM games like 2K9 NBA basketball and stuff.

Imaging by nature makes an exact copy. Your programs and settings should remain intact.

I thought one of those manufacturers (possible seagate) used a copy of Acronis, a very good imaging software.

You should be just fine, but the cool thing is, if it didn't work like you wanted it, you can always use the old HDD until you get it right.

Thank you so much. Yes. Acronis is the software they included or rebranded I should say.

I was waiting for your response. I think I will reimage tonight.
