Hey,

There are some options for a new PC.

Option 1:
Asus P5E, E8400, Sapphire HD3870X2, OCZ 2x2GB PC8500.

Option 2:
- 780i SLi motherboard
-- 8800GT in SLi
-- 8800GTS 512MB
-- 9800GTX
- E8400
- 2X2GB PC6400/PC8500

But im not sure what works better.
1 HD3870X2, 2 8800GT's, 1 8800GTS 512MB or 1 9800GTX
What the best choice?

This is what fits my budget (other components not included), only not sure about what to buy.
A 9800GX2 dont fit my budget.

You will be most suited with the 8800GTS 512MB. If you choose to overclock it, you will have a card on par with the 9800GTX for much less money. Either do that and SLi in the future, or get the 2 8800GT's now. If you want to buy everything now, you will be better off going with the second option.

Welp.....are you going to be using SLI in the future??? If no...i would go with an X38 mobo.......definetely go with an E8400...Vid card...i would do the GTS since the 9800's they are coming out with arent that big of a jump and i would by the Evga brand just for the fact of having the step-up program ...so if something really nice comes out you can send your old card in and pay the difference for an even better card. And the Ram...if the OCZ stuff you are thinking about getting is the ReaperX stuff......you will not be sorry...by far the Best ram ive had.

How far do you plan to push your MB with overclocking? For non-SLI + moderate overclocking, I would go for the good old Gigabyte DS3L/DS3R and get, at most PC8000 DDR.

If you want to push it a bit farther, I would suggest EVGA's 750i FTW. You get to keep full 2x16 SLI, but you save some $$$ and I heard people were able to push the FSB up to ~530MHz (the NB has active cooler).

or

9800GTX in SLi + 780i SLi
