Newb build - won't post on Abit P35 Pro - Please HELP

I'm in the process of building my first computer and have already received all of my parts. I'm using an Abit IP35 Pro MB w/ an Intel E8400 proc. I get a post error of 0.1. on the AWARD post display on the MB. Assuming it's a problem with my MB or Proc, but which one? Should I just RMA both? Any advice is appreciated (especially helpful advice ;0).

Okay, thanks. Just curious if Procs are DOA very often compared with MBs? Also, the stock Heat Sync (Intel) that came with the proc actually deflects the MB when installed. Crazy...

Well it depends, knowing that will not help you in anyway though... The position you're in will often be different to that of someone else which I why I recommended RMA'ing both.

did you check to see what the code means from your manual or the website? It might mean you plugged in a fan wrong or didnt plug in the 12v. You might waste a lot of ship time without your parts for something simple.
