More Information

Hi

I have a duorb fan on my 8800GT and while I have successfully undervolted the molex connector to 5v I read somewhere that it is possible to connect a Zalman fan mate which will enable the speed of the fan.

the undervolting is fine but i cant control the speed of the fan...

Somewhere along the lines, the plan would be to cut of the male end of the fan controller ( on the Zalman) and connect it to the molex " active pins"... would that be all of them? Surely not as the zalman only has 3 wires.

if anyone could give me some advice on doing this it would be appreicated as i dont want to blow my card up, or worse still, myself.

Thanks
