HI I have an e6600 on a 965-pds3 that ive had running at 3.2ghz 1600mhz fsb for over 1.5 years now, ive had this rig running probably 90pecent of the time too and all this on the stock coller, i havent even ever reseated it once, and still i can run p95 overnight w/ no errors on this baby, sadly i will be giving this rig to my brother soon(but im building an i7 rig) but this rig has been such a champ for such a long time for me, i wondered if anyone else has had similar luck with thier c2d+965 rig? if so please share

My e6400 rig has been a trooper for the past 2+ years and still going strong.
if you built it, chances are it'll last quite well, probably won't run games so well in another year and a half, but that gives you time for a new rig.

I have an AMD cpu. I have had my AM2 6000+ a year and a half and it has been a great cpu for me. I paid $170.00 for it. They are about $100.00 cheaper now. I just keep upgrading the video card when I feel that I need a boost. I could easily hang onto it for probably another year before feeling the need to upgrade.
