Well, I had to correct the bios, but I always go into bios when ever I add new hardware.... I set it to the correct speed, voltage and timings and it all booted up nicely!
I also installed a new mobo, an Abit IX38 QuadGT using my oldish Q6600. Of course I tried to OC and got to 3.8Ghz, but I am having trouble booting into it now... so obviously it wasnt stable.... So I am running 3.6 right now with my memory at 1000 (dont know why it isnt higher, next boot)
So I wanted to put this down for posterity sake, for those considering the same mobo and memory..
Thanks to all those that offered positive words regarding Patriot Memory, as this is my 1st experience with them...
And to the few that say it sucked, you were clearly wrong.....

Grats on everything working and the OC. There is nothing wrong with patriot memory in my book.
