What happened to them. I took a look, it seems a multitude of cards were removed, including the HD 3000 series and G92 cards? Is there something im missing?

edit:Oh finally figured it out. apparently, you gotta scroll all the way to the bottom and then select a card that you want. Its actually really nice, u can finally compare SLI/CF with single GPUs, awesome. The charts look neater, they could have specified this a while ago.

I am also curious as to why the latest ATI & NVidia cards are missing from the VGA charts. Waiting for better drivers to make a fair evaluation?

I plan to make a new build soon, but have been out of the loop for awhile as far as the latest hardware is concerned. I want to know if it's worth shelling out the extra $200 for a 9800 X2 over say an 8800GTX, for example, both in terms of current performance and flexibility for upgrades/enhancements in the future.

Did you click the link near the bottom to "view all products"?

And I don't think they had the g92 cards before either, with the exception of the 8800gt.

Reply to yadge

Yea, I tried comparing 9600gt with other cards, but it's not there...

Yeah the charts are useless now, they completely f-ed them up. I can't ever find anything I'm looking for anymore. Plus it would be nice to be able to compare SLI/CF configuration's to single card specs as well. I am getting ready to buy two Asus 9600GT Silent for SLI and would like to see how they would run against 8800GTX and 9800GTX, since they are all in the same price range. I am pretty sure the 96s SLI would win but it would be nice to see all of them together like the old days. The charts a few years ago were far better than lately. Now they are just a mess of worthless information.

lmao, i think the old chart had even older cards in there like 6 series and radeon 9.

Odd, it shows all the cards for me, but I'm using Opera (I tried under IE and Firefox, and they're not working), and even if it shows all the cards that were on the VGA charts before, the benchmark selection table is broken.

is it me or is the chart?man it looks screwed up!

I might rather preffered the old charts, much better to see. All this new fancy cr*p is ruining it.

Keep it simple, people are lookin for info not making it look shiny! :(

I hate the new charts:(

I like the old charts too. It's way simpler and user friendly...

Exactly, plus it was easy on the eyes. The only thing these charts have going for them is the comparison between sli and none sli, but I can easily just tab between the pages manually and do the same thing.

I don't think they put them up, which makes no sense:S W.e I guess I'll have to just look at their reviews or other sites to make comparisons:)

Yeah, even though Tom's reviewed and tested the 9000 series, it seems nobody took the time to put the results on the charts. Maybe a more complete refresh (with new benches) is on the way.

IMO you need to be careful to use these charts wisely. Too many people treat them like a large direct comparison and worse, use them as a sole source of comparisons. They are a useful addition to other sources, but do your homework and use multiple sources for forming your opionions and making recommendations. Direct comparisons are better... Keep in mind the charts testing has been done over a long period of time on different systems using different drivers. It's very handy for them to make it easy to compare all their past results, and I'm thankful they do it..... but I have seen some bad advice posted because of people misinterpreting the charts. Anyway, just something to keep in mind when offering advice....don't go by the VGA charts alone.

The chart maybe not yet updated for coupe months so the latest cards in the chart are 3870 and 8800GT 512MB. No 9600GT or else newer. What I really don't like the new chart is whenever I view the new benchmark item I need to select view all product again.

Reply to Crazy-PC

Yea, and the charts are so big you have to scroll around a couple of times to do comparisons...
