My computer died yesterday, my samsung HD321KJ just stopped working and cannot be detected by the cpu or by the Samsung hd utility. upon review their was a bios flash for this issue that i knew nothing about, but after the fact is there any way to repair this drive? any help is appreciated.

Have you tried installing the BIOS update? Perhaps once you've done that, the BIOS might be able to see the hard disk properly. The Samsung HD utility also relies on the BIOS to detect the drives, so try this suggestion first.

Have yo utried putting the HD in to another computer to see if it can be recognized?
