Hello guys.

I just bought my Sapphire HD 3870 + x2 6400 processor.
I couldnt find ASUS M2R32-MVP at the store, so they offered me ASUS M2N SLI Deluxe. I didnt buy because this board M2N SLI has "Nvidia chipset", while my VGA has ATI chipset....

Is it a bad idea to mix chipsets? will I run into problems If I use my ATI vga with Nvidia chipset mobo?

Thanks!

Nope, you'll be fine, just don't expect to be able to crossfire.

There shouldn't be a problem running nVidia cards on a ATI chipset and vice versa. If it has integrated graphics you might have to do some BIOS/driver changes.

I will not use crossfire. I just want a good mobo that wont compromise my systems overall speed. Thanks for answering,, if i cant find that M2R32-MVP, I will buy the M2N SLI Deluxe.
