Hello everyone

This is my first post here.
I am about to purchase several components from newegg but i thought it would be a good idea to ask around first.
I plan to use (2) two of these:

with this monitor:

My question:
Is the power supply listed below strong enough to handle my set up?

If you have a better idea what i should use please do let me know

Thank you

Corsair is good. I think that 750W should be a little bit more than enough.
Go spend those bucks!!

Even the Corsair 550VX is enough for those GPUs.

I think the Corsair 650TX should be plenty. 52amp of +12V

The price is $80 less after the rebates.

Unless you already own both the 8800GTs (or own one and plan on getting a 2nd) IMO a better way to spend that ~$320 on GPU power would be to get one of the new 9800GTX GPUs. Evga 9800GTX KO $334

Dunno about the 550VX, it depends on what else you're getting there - overclocked quad, 7 hard drives, watercooling?
750W should be plenty.

This Silencer 750W is a bit cheaper right now and you don't have to deal with mail rebates either:

Make sure you have good case cooling, with those cards. The single-slot coolers on eVGA's 8800GT will leave the heat inside the case. Maybe spend more and get two 8800GTS G92 cards. They are faster and have good coolers. The problem with them is you might block some PCI slots because they are dual-slot cards.

i just got that same card from the egg. i love it. however, the fan only spins at 29% by default so it can get hot. it's still very quiet spinning at 50%. make sure you use ntune or rivatuner to increase the speed while gaming. enjoy it.

If you can swing it go with the Corsair 750 watt psu. I think its a little overkill but you will never wonder about your power if you use those same video cards with whatever other components you decide to install later.

I took liberty of finding the link for you to speed up the order process... ;)
