looks like even this site is so sure on the 4870 specs

I guess its pretty much written in stone now huh? Impressive memory clock. Anyone ever see a 100% increase in memory speeds like this? over 1 generation
?

Specs look good. Still no benchmarks, unfortunately.

Meh, doubtful. That's a lot of bandwidth to fill.

And 8800gts has 64 TMU. They should give 4870 even more. :p

That's interesting. Are the TMUs comparable between ATI and NVidia? For example, I know you can't compare the "320" shaders in a 3800 to the shaders in the 8000/9000 series because they are architecturally different. Are the TMUs/ROPs identical?

They have 480 shaders. :0 Their shader clock have been increased I wonder if this actually makes 3DMark better or game better.

I think its enough, It seems that ATI really tested the R600 to see what the bottleneck was. They've had plenty of time to improve so I think its fine. They might have nailed this arch right on the head.
