Worried about e8400 temperature

hi , i have overclocked my e8400 to 4 ghz its running stable the only problem is when i run test like core damage it runs up to 70 degreese on normal load with orthos or other programs its about 58 degreese max its only with core damage it run up to 70 degreese so im just wondering is this safe still or its too hot?

If both cores are 100% loaded, then 70c is not too hot for that processor. I wouldn't recommend going much higher however.

Edit: Those are core temperatures correct?

thanks yeh i aint overclocking it more than that i been running orthos for 2 hours and maximum it reach was 59 degreese im running further more test aswell gonna try prime95 and occt and linx i will also tell you the result when im done its only with core damage it goes up to 70 im hopping i can keep it @ 4 ghz cause it runs all my games well so far
