Black screen

Hello,
When I turn my computer on a black screen appears. I can hear windows loading but only black screen. I made it so it will go straight to welcome without logging on but screen still stays black. When I turn it on using safe mode, screen is not black. Please help

sounds like a resolution problem. set the resolution in safe mode to 800x600 and then boot back to dangerous mode.

Changed monitors and computer worked

yes because the new monitor supported the higher resolution. if you want to go back to the original monitor you can, but you must lower the desktop resolution first.
