I'm planning to build a PC and have decided not to go with Crossfire nor SLI video.

I want the best with support for:

Intel Dual Core
the chipset or chipset combo
6 - 8 Gb of DDR 2 memory
PCI-E 2.0
4 total slots
HD Auidio

And Possibly:

bluetooth

I'd say a X38, im pretty sure anything with a PCI-E 2.0 slot supports either crossfire or SLi, but nothing wrong with a extra PCI-e slot. PCI-E 2.0 is pretty useless right now either ways.

You get the P45 or X48 chipset. Theres been great reviews about the Rampage Formula, the P5Q-E, P5Q-Deluxe.

4 slots? as in 4 pcie slots for 4 vid cards? no such thing for intel.Only boards i know that have that are the 790fx or higher boards for Amd but then your bottlenecking the hell outta them with a phenom.

Intel dual core?

Why not? The E2xx0 CPUs arn't bad. esp. if building a budget rig.
