Is this good one?
Do I need to worry if I run this one with an 8800GS/GT or a 9600GT?
You're an *******, why aren't I mentioned in your blog ? My flamingly gay male angel avatar isn't bold enough for you, is that it ?

Very understandable. I'm sure TGGA will let this one pass.

Hey Mazier shrink your avatar a bit dude it messes up the layout.
I tried it, i resized to the resolution that this forums need but its still the same
Weird.
BTW romulus, what GC are you using?fanboy of any?
Me? I'm using a 8500gt. AND I'm an nVidia fanboy after AMD bought ATI.
I'm not a real gamer, since I'm still studying, I use the PC for blogs and social stuffs and more, yet I'm planning to buy an 8800GS or a 9600GT (or what ever comes best after July), so I need you guys to see this.
This is my PSU. I know nothing about PSUs. Tell me, is this a good one?(it came with the box so I think it's a no good one). Also tell me is it safe to run the cards above?
Well I can't tell the brand because it's under the bracket up the top, but it does give details regarding the 12V amperage (32A), which is a good sign as poor quality units rarely list this. Assuming it is a quality unit, you could run an 8800GTX on that thing (but only one GTX).
It's from Icute
http://www.icute.com.tw/english/
Good news it's okay then =)
Well it kinda depends on whether iCute made the PSU themselves or just rebadged it. If the PSU was made by Fortron Source (FSP) for example, then it's definitely good. Really you don't know until you push it if it's any good. It will definitely run anything that doesn't use alot of power though, such as the cards you mentioned, as long as it isn't already faulty.
well i think you need to get a better psu.at least a coolermaster extreme power 460W would do the job
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817171028
its not for you if you plan to overclock, but at stock(no OC),this psu is more than enough to power a 8800GT.it would absolutely fire up any 9600gt or 8800gs.
That coolermaster provides alot less power than his current PSU. He'd be better off with this:

guys ,is the silverstone strider 400W any good?
The individual 12V rails have low maximum currents, I'd take the FSP unit I linked above over the silverstone, even though it looks like a piece of cheap crap.
Hey guys I got another PSU, it's in my back up PC, and this is the picture:
By unknown brand. Is it good? I don't see any ISO stuffs here so I'm doubting..

Hi rom,
The first unit you showed the guys will be fine for either of the cards you mention, the second one though has 10 less Amps on the +12 volt rail and i wouldnt want to trust it with a newer card.
Card power requirements can be a funny business, the firms that make/supply them like to give themselves a level of security when claiming requirements so they know people cant blame them if teh card goes down due to the power supply.
There are many sites around that list cards power needs, some are better than others. Always allow yourself some extra same as the firms do. Xbit labs http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/video/ power test most of the cards they review and i have found them to b equite accurate.
You said you wanted to learn so here are a couple of links for you.
http://www.pcpower.com/technology/myths/
This second on eis like a ready reconer for a rough guide only i dont know how accurate it is.
