I'm not very good with computers and wondering what you think on this computer:

CPU:Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 1066FSB 8MB L2 Cache 2.4GHzx4
Graphic card:XFX Geforce 8800GT 512MB Dual DVI,HDTV DX10 Support
MOBO:Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L intelP35 Motherboard 1333FSB LGA775 DDR2 1066 PCI-EX Audio ATX
Memory: 4GB DDR2-800 dual channel Kit
HDD:320GB SATA2 HDD 16mb Cache
Cdrom:20x+/- double layer DVDRW
PSU:Raidmax 500W PSU

Cost: 1150 USD. [No OS, pre built]
And will it be noticeably loud while playing games?
Thanks

Looks nice and balanced. 8800gt with stock one slot cooler can be moderately loud at runs hot at the same time. Some versions of 8800gt comes with aftermarket dual slot cooler, which is as quiet as stock g92 8800gts cooler. Not sure about the case. Keep in mind cases that seal in noise also tend to do the same to heat. Also, you didn't list cpu cooler. For best noise/performance ratio, get one with 120mm fan.

Get a different PSU if you want to run those components safely... I wouldn't trust that Raidmax for a second (bad experiences w/ Raidmax PSUs). Otherwise, this looks quite balanced, and game ready (make sure you buy an OS/ have one..). Assuming that it's the stock cooler, it shouldn't be THAT loud, possibly when it's at full load.
