hey all I have a problem 
I have an old Maxtor One Touch [url=http://www.amazon.com/Maxtor-A01A200-Touch-Personal-Storage/dp/B0000AZW8L][/url] but! i lost the power supply for it, I know it requires 12v and 3amps is the original power supply.
I was woundering if I could use a 12v 1amp power supply ? or will it not work?
Also! Where could I purchase a 12v 3amp power supply?
Sidenote: anybody recommend a good software to recover files from a hard drive that is corrupt?
Do not use the 12V 1 amp power supply, it will provide too little power and may cause damage!
Also, there are lots of 12V 3A power supplies. Just do a Google search and you're set!
