780i MB and EVGA 9800 GX2 problems

I just put a 780i mb in my computer with the 9800 gx2 video card i am running windows xp, My question is, I race nascar 2003 online and when i went from my 8800 gt card to the 9800 i adjust all my settings the same as i had with the 8800 card and when i go into my game my screen freezes and a blue screen comes up and says nv4 driver failure system memory dump, then it reboots to 256 color on desktop i have tried 4 sets of drivers and always the same thing, I didnt reformat when i put new board and card in could that be the problem or is my psu not big enough i have a 650 watt thermaltake that has 4 12volt rails at 18 volts on the 12 volt rails total output is 52 volts combined i need help please. I had the same issue with my EVGA 780i MB and a Geforce 8800 GTS 640MB card. I got the same error and blue screen. I had to remove the Media Sheild program. The only way I got it to work was to reimage my machine and when I installed the chipset drivers, I made sure I did not install Media Sheild.
