Ok so basically i got a thermaltake Armor+ LCS for Xmas and wanna OC my processor cuz i got the hardware to keep it cool. So i read all the guides and im stuck. System specs:

Thermaltake Armor+ LCS

Phenom 9550 2.2GHz (200MHz, multiplier 11)

Asus A3M Mobo

9800GTX

2BG ddr2 1066 ram

Windows XP

I had to flash my BIOS, to get it updated, and i found the whole area to change my FSB from 200MHz up, but it wont let me change it in the BIOS it will only change the voltage and the guide says change the FSB then the voltage, can someone please help me, thanks!

Not familiar with that bios but you need to disable cool and quiet and change settings to Manual then try adjusting FSB. The Phenoms are not known to OC well tho.

how high are you expecting to reach? Amd being the super clockers they are 2.24 maybe? careful any higher the tower be in flames

Its at 2.2GHz right now, and it idles at 30c and gets to 35c under a load, so i want to oc as much as i can and still keep it under control!

When i had my 9500 phenom in with ntune and no voltage change i could take the fsb up to 215 stable. Sometimes it would go to 220.

My bios WONT let me change my fsb tho, i cant figure it out at all! Quiet and cool is off, can anyone help me?

change it from auto to manual then you can adjust FSB

download ntune from nvidia and use that.

Software Oc'ing bad you can corrupt files much safer to Oc in bios worst case you reset the cmos.

I had some OC problems and i posted them in a different thread called "OC HELL PLZ HELP"

Can you please check it out and see if useing the software i did messed up my OS?
