When I play oblivion, sometimes I get this weird wire line of pixels across the top and left side of the screen.  When I go inside buildings it goes away, but comes back when I go outside.  This also only occurs after I talk to someone, and not all the time.

I am running DVI-HDMI to my 1080p TV resolution is set 1920x1080, dot by dot.

This happened on the 360 version too, but all the time in dot by dot.  I am guessing it could just be the game at that high res so, has anyone ever experienced this with Oblivion or any game?  if so, were you able to fix it and how?

Thanks!

It's most likely from the game itself. You can try downclocking and see if that helps.

Did you patch the game? My game doesn't do this and I never patched it.

you have many well wasted hours ahead of you.  I bought this game for the 360 in july, played about 200 hours on there.  Then I heard about the mods and had to play the PC version.  even after everything in the game is beaten, which I have not yet done, there are hundreds of great mods to keep it going.  with all the content in this game, its just, wow.

I've been using these http://downloads.guru3d.com/ForceW [...] -1901.html without any adverse effects (so far!).
