Is this EVGA 320-P2-N811-AR GeForce 8800GTS 320MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Expressx16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Better then my BFG 8500GT 512MB video card?

If so .. I should see a relatively big gaming difference right?

It's better, but not ideal. You should get the 512mb version instead.

something to consider...
if your running 32bit OS you only have 4 gig of ram...
the more memory you have on your video card the less memory you will have in windows.

You won't notice a difference between 3.6gb and 3.3gb of ram.

Yes the 320 is vastly superior to the 8500. go for it, at the price it is now its a steal.

I just looked at your specs, He's running 2gb of Ram. That 8500 is really holding you down man...

most people wouldn't...
myself I do... (dual boot in xp64 when I need more ram)
my work can be RAM demanding... I'm not much of a gamer.

but if the OP only has 2 gigs... then he would never notice it at all.

my 2¢
