Hi! Thank you for reading. I am new to Overclocking. I would like to get a short summary of what is overclocking first and what it is suppose to do. Then I would like to know if it would my my computer faster if I could overclock my Intel (R) Pentium (R) 4 CPU 3.00 GHz or a Dell E510. Also if you can tell me how to overclock a CPU that would be cool. I do not know how to. I got a 305 watt PSU too ,if that matters.

You need a new rig - Manufacturers like Dell, Gateway and HP all lock their BIOS (the tool needed to overclock your PC) goodluck.
