my question is , will the cooler of the HIS ICEQ fit on the sapphire?forget about the onboard side heatsinks, i just want to know if i can swap the fan sink to the sapphire.i noticed that only 4 screws holding the fansink of the HIS near the GPU have identical length and width to the hd3850.pls help!

No, it won't work, because the second card has a dual slot cooler.
I would get an aftermarket cooler, after trying first cleaning and raising the fan speed with Rivatuner.
