hi i michael
Abit pro ip35 mother board
2x seagate 500g 32cache
q6600
9800vga
8g ram
coolmaster p/s

I've set RAID in BIOS. Then installed vist. I did not know to configure the RIAD, with ctrl i. Upon boot up port 00, port 01, port 02
one says cd-rom
one says error reset
one says hdrive.
wheres my second hdrive? checked connections even tryed new sata cables.

port 00 to port 05 are my sata1~sata6?

i vista a raid looks like one drive, does it in boot up? I'm am trying to see both my hdrives. They do not have insturctions for slave setting like jummers or anything.
Because a lack of exp I have. I'm now changing from RAID to IDE, so I can see both drive at least. Its taking a long time to do this.? and

whats volume and stripe size when making raid0 with ctrl+i? please and thanks Any help
