You might want a 8800gt or 9600gt instead of 3650. They don't cost much more, and perform far better. Best bang for the buck is always in the mainstream, it's not good if you go either above or below it.

Everything else good as is.

------------------------------ Q6600@3.6ghz, GA-EX38-DS4 motherboard, 8gb 800mhz ddr2 4-3-3-12, 8800GTS(g92)@780mhz, 1TB + 1.5TB hdds, 850watt psu

I do graphic design for 10 years now.. I even did 3D (Max) and NO software except video editing OR 3D require a Quad CPu so you should get a E8400 and invest a little more on a 20 or 22" Screen to get more pixels ... like a Samsung 226.

Try to put your OS and all apps on a system drive and all other files ona second one.

Saddly I love ATi but nVidia cards are still a little faster right now :)

Thanks!
Eventhough it will be mostly for 2D animation...Just noticed
the great rating for the 8800GS card at the same price level.

Anybody know of it or uses it ???
