So I bought a MSI P6NGM mother board and got it all up and running, but I want my 3 monitors working again, so I bought a MSI NX8400GS which has VGA and DVI ports. I get it, install it, and plug in 2 monitors to the card, and one to the on board video.
Now the mother board is one of the NVidia integrated chip sets so I shouldn't need to install the driver for the new add in card.
The card is detected and works fine, but both the Windows display manager and the NVidia control center only show 2 monitors, the 2 that are connected to the add in card.
How can I get the on board video to output as well?
And of course, as soon as I post i fix the problem. When I put the card in it auto-disabled the onboard VGA in the BIOS. I just had to go in there and manually enable it.
Glad to see you got it fixed. I hope you don't run into any problems with having onboard and add in graphics. As I understand it you should be fine because both are using the same drivers.
