I just ordered a AMD 64x2 5000 Black Edition processor and should be receiving it later this week.

I wanted to take a poll and see what is the highest average "STABLE" clock speed is among BE owners.

I currently have a MSI K9 Platinum AM2 Motherboard with the ATI X580 chipset.

Please include the following with your posts:
■Your highest stable clock
■Your Multipler Setting
■FSB Setting
■Core Voltage
■Your motherboard make & model

Highest stable OC on air was 3250 with the orig bios (which I may flash if I can find out what it was, lol)
x13
250Mhz
1.4
Asus M3A32-MVP Wifi Deluxe

BUT since updating the bios (currently have 10) highest stable OC is 3000Mhz
x12
250Mhz
1.3625
Asus M3A32-MVP Wifi Deluxe

That is an great clock!

Did you try messing with the multipler at first? Most people I know pump it up to x15 right out of the box.

How high did you get it before you had to increase the voltage?

BTW...what is wrong with Tom's Hardware? When I click on POST REPLY it tells me the thread is closed. But if I enter my reply in QUICK REPLY it lets me post. However when I do QUICK REPLY it will not let me edit what I post because AGAIN it says the thread is closed. Anyone else having this problem on the forums?
