Did you find the aluminum spoiler helpful in conducting airflow down to the chip? It doesn't seem to attach on very tight. The smallest bump will clip it off the heatsink. Thinking of leaving it off all together but if it really helps I might figure out a way to attach it on tighter.

Oh and which chip are we talking about, it is for the benefit of the other components that border the heatsink supposedly and i do have something underneath a heatpipe so no doubt doing something, just don't know how much of that something.


I got the Q6600 for which I planned on OCing it to about 3.6 so I was looking for some opinions on the spoiler with/without it would that be able to get an OC of 3.6

Mine didn't even come with the spoiler! I feel ripped off!! ...unless I somehow missed it in the box? The cooler is excellent though.
