I recently built a computer and i'm trying to boot using my old hard drive (SATA). The old Drive has XP on it. Windows gets to the loading screen then my system restarts from the bios loading. Any help?

Using existing OS with completely new hardware (mainly different chipset on motherboard) will almost always result in BSOD as you've experienced.
You can try a Windows repair install using the CD, but it's not always guaranteed (can get quite messy in fact). Reformat and clean install the OS then loading latest fresh driver is the way to go.

The easiest thing to do is format it and reinstall windows :D, after you backed up your files (you can use a Linux Live CD to do that) of course. Otherwise do as wuzy suggested and repair the windows installation using a win XP CD.
