I've just bought an msi k9a2 platinum v2 motherboard and an leadtek px8800 gts 512 and the motherboard has a power connector (like the ones on the ide hdd's) near the first pci express slot. My questions is: should I use both power connectors on the motherboard and the video card or should I just use the power connector from the video card???
If I use both connectors could I ruin my video card???

No. I'm actually not convinced it is for the graphics card. The pcie connector on the card is for the gpu. The molex on motherboard might be for the mb itself. Too lazy to look it up. Just plug it in, can't do any harm.

Well not according to my manual :).
I'll attach some pictures with my motherboard and an extraction from the manual.
