I have just tested my Crucial Ballistix Tracers DDR2-1066 with memtest and got back 72 errors. Whats up with this? I have not been having any blue screens or problems but I also have not tried to OC yet with this new MB. This memory was in my ASUS P5K-Deluxe OC'ed to 3.6GHz but the memory was set at 800 and not 1066, so I would have a 1:1 with FSB.

So, I guess now I need to check each stick individually? Then when I find the bad stick(s), do I contact Crucial for an RMA or what?

Need advice plz.

The memory is now in my Rampage Formula MB. See my sig below for system info.

u dont have a sig below.??? same with me, my sig doesnt show up when i enable it. if its running in spec, whatever that is and it fails memtest, then RMA. at first run ur proc at stock and ur mem at rated voltages and timings then run it again.

Update,

Ran Memtest on 2 sticks and passed. Ran memtest on other 2 sticks and passed. Installed all 4 sticks of ram reset timings and voltage to spec's, then made two passes with memtest and passed. Don't know what swapping the memory around did but it passed memtest this time around.

Thanks for your input.
