Power falure while converting from fat 32 to ntfs....

i tried to convert my hard disc from fat 32 to ntfs using partition magic but there was a power failure and the process was not completed.now i cannot access the hard drive and i cannot format it either(windows recognize it but when i double click it it says "drive not formatted,format now?and when i try to format an error occurs).i dont care about the data in the hard drive but for the hard drive itself.can it be fixed or should i throw it away? thnks in advance

Get a floppy with ME boot and fdisk it OR go to the manufacturers site and dnload their software and either zero the whole hdd OR enough to re-fdisk it etc...
Next time you want to convert from 32 fat to ntfs clear out the 32bit fat partition and reformat it to ntfs with windoze,then if you get a failure you will loose nothing..
