Hi there i have wd external hard disk which was working fine unless last night it's not showing in my computer just pops up with 3,4 hiss sound and safely remove icon appears and i can't find any drive in desktop...
i have gone through every check and tried recovery software it too isn't able to scan as there is no drive shown except physical usb which after scan says sector 0 error i can just see wd in device manager ..
i have important files there can anyone please help me whats going on...

Have you tried testing the hard disk on another computer? Have you tried using another cable? Based on what you've written, it seems your hard disk may have failed.
