Hi all, I just bought a 4GB kit of Kingstone HyperX RAM (KHX6400D2K2/4G) its rated at 800MHz and CL5. I think it's supposed to run at 2.0volts (don't quote me though), but it's only running at 1.8volts... Consequently (i think) my Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 has down'd the speed of my Ram to 667MHz

Can I just change the settings in BIOS? or have I got some faulty Ram? Any ideas or suggestions are welcome :)

Thanks heaps.

Edit: P.S. Sorry if this is posted somewhere else, I did have a look around but couldn't find anything..

Thanks for that doubletake. I just changed the settings on my BIOS:
DDR800, 2.0volts 5-5-5-15 1T.
But according to CPU-Z my ram has now jumped from 333Mhz up to only 375.5mhz... shouldn't it be at 400mhz?? CPU-Z also states that my FSB: DRAM ratio is CPU/8, but I can't find anywhere in my BIOS (GA-MA790X-DS4) to change that CPU divider.. does anyone have any ideas???
