So I had windows vista installed on my old 250gb hard drive, but then I got a new 500gb hard drive for vista to speed it up and increase my storage. So i installed vista on the 500gb hard drive, with vista still installed on the 250gb hard drive as well. I proceeded to boot vista from the 500gb and reinstall all my programs and games and such, and then wiped the 250gb hard drive. Now, however, my computer is unable to boot from the 500gb hard drive. It freezes after the gigabyte screen and says "Verifying DMI Pool Data". I think there must have been some boot files or something only installed on the old hard drive and not on the new one so now it can't boot?
Is there any way I can get the hard drive to boot, or do I have to reinstall vista on it and reinstall everything which would be a huge pain.
Thanks!
