Q6600 O.Cing and Ram

Hi i just have a few quick question about my q6600 and ram.

1. I have a logitech g15 keyboard and coretemp has an app that lets me see core temps and their load. When i play a game like TF2, my core0 is at 100% while everything else is low, shouldn't it evenly distribute the load throughout all of the cores?

2. I have Corsair 4GB (2x2) ddr800 ram, i have overclocked my q6600 to 3.2, so obviously my ram clock has gone up also, to 893, FSBRAM is 4:5. Does this pose any threat to the ram stability wise? And could it cause any damage?

3. What should the FSBRAM ratio be in bios, (i have ami bios). Im not looking to push the limits of my ram, i just want to know whats best.

1. No, TF2 is not a multi-threaded game
2. Most RAM has a warranty, just don't tell them you OC'd the modules.
3. Underclock your CPU, then overclock your RAM to the max, then vice versa.

That game is single threaded. There will be more multi-threaded games as time goes by.

Yes running your RAM at a higher speed will put additional stress on it. Whether it will be a problem or not is the big question. I had 4 out of 6 sticks of Ballistix 800 4-4-4-12 2.2V take a dump on me at their rated speed and timings. All of the DDR2 1066 RAM is technically higher binned DDR2 800. My Ballistix even had an EPP in the SPD of 1066.

If you want to run the RAM at its rated speed of 800, then set your CPU multi manually to 8, set the FSB to 400 and set the RAM at 1:1. That's what I did.

Or, if it's stable let it eat.
