i bought an EVGA 8800gt superclocked with my new build from newegg. on newegg it says the memory clock speed is supposed to be 1900mhz. but in riva tuner it is set to 950, and the highest it showws is 1490. did i get a bad card or am i missing something?
no, the memory clock is 950mhz, but since its DDR, you multiply it by two to get the effective memory rate. 950*2=1900mhz, nothing wrong there, just a noobish mistake.
