I can't seem to access the admin of my WRT54G. I changed the address from 192.168.0.1 when I first setup the router, as an added security precaution. Is there any program that can help me locate the IP? And if not, how do I reset my router so that it goes back .0.1?

Connect computer and router using ethernet cable. In Windows XP go Start, All Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt and type IPCONFIG /ALL

The IP address next to the word gateway should be your router.

Once you access the router's user interface look for LAN settings.

Alternatively you could reset the router to factory defaults by pressing the reset button but you may have to re-supply ISP logon details etc etc.

^+1 If you're too lazy to hook up with ethernet, you can try pressing Windows + R, typing cmd and pressing Enter, then typing ping -r 1 google.com and again pressing Enter. Whatever appears after Route: should be the IP address of your router.
