About three weeks ago I built a new computer. It had been running without any real issues until maybe 4-5 days ago when I got a blue screen of death error message which I failed to write down. It happened again today and this was the message I got:

Technical information:

*** STOP: 0x0000007e (0xffffffffc0000005, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff880056af7f8, 0xfffff880056af050)

The record of this error said "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007e... (see above).

Coincidentally, both BSODs occurred when I clicked on different Reddit links. I doubt this has anything to do with it, but it seems strange that both errors occurred while I was on the site.

Computer specs:
ASUS P8P67 Deluxe motherboard
corei5 2500k cpu
8GB corsair vengeance RAM (2x4GB)
EVGA GTX570
Corsair 750W PSU (HX something model number).
Coolermaster 212plus cpu cooler

CPU does not appear to be overheating (All cores currently below 35*C). I am really at a loss as to what the problem may be, as I can play SC2 and CS source extensively with no problems, yet when I'm just browsing the web I get BSOD (only happened twice). This latest event occurred shortly after the computer woke up from sleep, can't remember if this was the case last time.

I greatly appreciate any help, this has me pretty worried.

Note: I got a new monitor probably around the time of the first BSOD (ASUS VW246h) and I read this problem could result from old video drivers. Could this mean anything (Trying to run a higher resolution)? I really have no idea.

Edit: 8/24/11, date of first BSOD/Windows failure:
Installation Successful: Windows successfully installed the following update: Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2570791)
Though this happened after the crash itself (10:46PM for update vs. 10:17PM for crash)
