I'd like to build a "budget-value-PC".
Which Mainboard do you recommend?
for:

CPU: E8200, P35/ICH9(or better)
Memory: DDR2 or DDR2/DDR3(each 4GB)
OC: not vital

+ It should be cheap(less than 120$ would be perfect)
++It should run with Linux (out of box if possible )

My ideas:

GIGABYTE GA-P35-S3G (budget)
GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3

ASRock 4Core1600Twins-P35
ASRock 4Core1600P35-WiFi+

Asus P5K SE/EPU
Asus P5KC (sure works on linux)

Foxconn P35AX-S (budget)

GigaByte GA-EP35-DS3L ($90) if 4 SATA ports are enough. I have a -DS3P (4 SATA ports weren't enough and DS3R's weren't available where I shop) with a Q6600 running at 3.6 GHz.

I do not have any personal experience with the rest but:
Foxconn has a generally good reputation.
I have seen mixed comments about ASUS.
ASRock and ECS have a pretty bad reputation.

If you are talking about a "budget-value-PC", forget DDR3.

^+1 for DS3L. Go with Gigabyte or ASUS.

I like the GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS3R LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail $149.99.

And the GIGABYTE GA-EP43-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail $99.99.

They are using the new Intel ICH10 or Intel ICH10R and both use DDR2 ram.
