i just need to know how hard it would be to switch out my hard drives? will it mess up my computer or will it work? is there anything else i would need to do this? i really need some help on this!!!

Switch out as in take out your HDD of the computer case? And then? Please explain better what you want.

if you plan to switch ur main hdd, ull need a bootup partition manager, ull need to copy ur system partition to the new hdd

Its very easy. Usually the hdd manufacturer will have software to copy your old drive to your new one. Then you can boot off the new drive.
