Looks like a great system I am running nearly the same system on one of my setups, if you look at my view his configuration under more info. I think you will be very pleased with the speed of that system. I have had Raptors for years 1x36GB, 2x74GB, 1x150GB sizes and loved them all. Once you go Raptor its hard to run anything else, systems just seem snappier with raptors drives, gotta love those fast seek times. Have fun.

although i would have sprung the $50 bucks and went with this board but that 680i is a good board and theres allways the step up program (hint)

you may want to check out this cooler it appears since the evga mobos mostly have nbridge cooling built in these work well with their boards
ppl say tower coolers can block air flow to Nbridge can mean alot if you OC
these suckers even help keep the ram cool

I am going to be using the Xigmatek HDT-S1283, on my evga 750i, or an asus board for my first build in a couple weeks. Does anyone think what ^^^ill_take_two^^^said pulls any weight??? I have never heard anything about tower coolers affecting northbridge cooling. Oh an I do plan to OC as much as I can safely.
