Bios 1001 has assured US, once gain an era of nvidia chipset issues

1202 and 1303 are not much better

ok guys, i have been having no issues building 3.2-3.5ghz Q6600 systems with formula ii - now with the new bios (you can not downgrade bios with tricks) i am having issues

anyone else having issues?

it seems the new bios has conflicts?

if anyone has anything to add to this please post your full voltage/fsb/ system specs - i post my after i see a few!

Weird you cannot downgrade ?
Hmmm glad I got a cheap X35 chipset (Asus P5K EPU) I have the option to downgrade the BIOS.

You cant downgrade even from a bootable disk ?

you can not down grade bios its built into the asus flash utility

I didn't have any problem flashing back to 1303 from 1305... This problem has been reported by others, but it is certainly not normal.

BTW, I agree with you: 1305 is a major POS

testing is complete

first the issue is with old quads not 45nm

second tuning is key

finally the mobo does benfit from new thermal compound on the heat pipe cooling
