I recently encountered a problem with my PC where whenever I turn the computer off at night, it doesn't work in the morning. I'll press the power button and the fans will turn on but the computer won't even post. I'm almost positive it's a problem with the RAM because when I fiddle around with it it eventually works again. I would just like to know what I can do to fix this problem.

I had a similar problem, I usually keep my computer on all the time, but if I shut it off it wouldn't start up again.  The fans would turn on but it wouldn't boot. I had to reset the cmos to start it up again.  I read that if I flashed the bios it would solve the problem.

For starters, post your specs.

Had this with a cheapo PC chips motherboard PC. I had checked the ram sticks and both of them was ok. Was just that the board didn't like one of the sticks, just took a bit of swapping in differnt sticks till i found two it liked. The sticks were all the same make etc.
