This may be a silly question as I couldn't find it anywhere else, but will DDR2 800 Memory work on a motherboard that says it supports something like DDR2 1066 or a higher faster memory than DDR2 800?

I'm assuming the ram would just run at the standard 800 frequency, but I don't like to assume when it comes to these things.
