I just bought a new HDD. I'm trying to figure out how I can duel boot a OS from the first HDD and a OS from the new HDD at the same time. I've seen this done before on a youtube video from way back. I can't find it though, so basically I want to have two OS running live at the same time. If any one knows what this is called or any information, that would be great.

It's impossible. You can run two OS's in virtual machines, but that's the only way to do it.
