I frankly would not trust the power supply in your current rig, however I have been wrong in the past. Look at the label on the PSU and let us know the wattage, the amperage on the rails, and, if possible, the brand.
That said here are some recommendations for your situation if the PSU is not enough. Frankly I doubt you'll need any killer wattage so here you go.
Oh and one final piece of advice: Never skimp on a power supply. A bad PSU is capable of DESTROYING all the hardware attached to it. All of my suggestions are fairly priced, should last a while, and not fry your stuff.

thanks a ton, yea right now im running an 8500GT Im not going to put the 8800gt in without a sufficient power supply.
So with the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817139003 I will have to use 2 of the +12v power connectors and convert it to 1 6 pin which will make the total amps 33 ( minimum of 26 required for the vid card). Is this correct?
I am sorry but the link to the PSU you like is not working. Make sure you got the whole link.
In any event: No the power supply will not have to use 2 12v connectors. You will simply plug in the 6-pin PCI-E power cord into the graphics card and you will be ready to rock.
Any luck finding out the wattage and the brand of your current power supply? Who knows; you might not even need to buy a one if Acer decided to include a good one in your build. I doubt it, but who knows.

You'd be right below the recommended system requirements for the 8800GT using that power supply (400w with 22 amps) It would most likely be sufficient, but an option would be to upgrade to this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817341012 for the budget PSU or
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817139003 just remember to save your old PSU and replace it in your old system when you upgrade to a new system.
