GA-EP35-D3SL won't recognize IDE CD/DVD drive

I just installed the GA-EP35-D3SL MB on one of my PCs, trying to do a fresh install of XP but I can't get it to boot from the DVD drive or even see the DVD drive in the master/slave in the bios (only the hard drive). They're both on an IDE cable. Any suggestions?

check the master and slave connections on the dvd and hard drive, hard drive should be master and dvd should be slave,

or put both on cs = cable select

That worked and I'm currently installing the OS. Thanks a lot man, sometimes the simplest things slip my mind.

Does that board only have one IDE port? It would be better to put your HDD and DVD drives on seperate IDE channels since IDE runs paralell.
