What temperature software for i7

What is the most accurate software to measure the temperature of a i7 processor? I have used coretemp and realtemp but they show different results. Edit: My processor seems to running really hot. Both realtemp and coretemp record between 41 C and 47 C with the coolermaster V8 cooler and on idle. Idle would be when you aren't running any intensive programs on your computer, right?

Probably calibrated SpeedFan or a good IR thermometer.
