Sorry if this has been addressed before, couldnt find it on here. I just built my first custom built rig, and am wanting to overclock my i7 920. i have, obviously, the intel core i7 920, gigabyte EX58-UD4P Mobo, Vigor Monsoon III LT, antec 900 case, gskill 1333mhz ram. ive never overclocked b4, and the blogs ive read on how to either deal with different specs, or make no sense. is there a general setting i could set my bios to to achieve a high overclock on air that wont drastically lower the life of my cpu. if anybody knows of a good site that has an in depth post on how to overclock and what everything (voltage etc.) means? btw, my cpu is reporting 20c and lower temps at idle.
